Building Materials Warehouse - Panel Division - Phoenix AZ

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 27 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In Lenexa, KC, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL – we do business as: Olathe Millworks, Warren Brother Sash & Door, River City Millworks respectfully.)

Overview

We are seeking an individual to join our Panel Division. The Panel Division is responsible for fabrication of laminated panels. In addition, general warehouse duties of receiving, unloading and storing material delivered to the branch is also a function of the position.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experienced warehouse & general labor person
  • Fast paced environment for someone who is quick but safety conscientious
  • Able to successfully pass a Valid OSHA approved forklift certification
  • Proficient and able to work safely with hand and power tools
  • Mechanically inclined individual able to operate a variety of equipment.
  • Good oral communication
  • Candidate required to pass drug test

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner
  • Assist in taking inventory as required on a regular basis
  • Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift extremely heavy awkward products repeatedly to store, removes from storage for fabrication, or load onto a truck 50-100 lbs. with a helper
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and crouching
  • Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision
